#LightTheWorld Door Decorations Nativity the Christ Child is Born,
Earlier today I posted some reindeer door decorations that could be used for today's Light The World. You could find them here: From our Herd to Yours. When I was thinking about what I would make for the door decorations, the reindeer first came to my mind, but then I also thought about doing the nativity. I wasn't sure if I was going to get them both done today. But miraculously, after working from the moment my kids went to school, until they got home, they are now complete!!
I love the nativity, because it's sole focus is on our Savior and his humble birth. Have you watched, The Christ Child, short film? If you haven't please do! I love it because you can feel the emotion of each one of the people present for Christ's birth, as well as the wise men years after his birth. I am sure it was a very humbling and joyful experience.
So, as we are focusing on sharing the light of Christ this Christmas, might we share some light, by decorating someone's door. Could it be someone in your own family, a neighbor, a family member, maybe someone you have been unable to visit with because of the pandemic. Maybe a ministering sister or a young woman. Whoever it is, I'm sure you will brighten their day!
If you feel inclined, you could print more of the stars and write messages on them as well. My suggestion would be to use painters tape, to protect the paint or stain on the doors.
