December Week 1 Topic: The prophets foretold that Jesus Christ would come to earth

Preparation:

Prayerfully study and think about what the specific needs of your primary are and how you can teach them this doctrine. The most important thing is to love those you teach and to teach them by the Spirit!! Focus on building their testimonies and helping them come unto Christ!  (All printables for this sharing time can be found and printed by clicking the "Free Printable Download" button. They are free and can be printed and used for personal and church purposes)

Sharing Time Instruction:

Discuss with the primary children what they learned last week during Sharing Time and what they did to apply it into their lives throughout the week.

Show the primary children the week's theme poster (See Free Download Below) and have them repeat, "The prophets foretold that Jesus Christ would come to earth".

Then choose one of the following Sharing Time Outlines. All will work with this week's theme, you decide which would be best for your primary.

LDS Primary Sharing Time Ideas December 2015 Week 1: Jesus Christ came to earth as promised by the prophets.

2016 LDS Sharing Time Ideas for December Week 1: Prophets prophesied about the birth of Jesus Christ.
(On this one you could explain that the word prophesy is the same as foretold. Both mean that the prophets told about the Savior's birth that was to come in the future. They could do so because they received revelation from Heavenly Father.)
