Ideas for November Week 2 LDS Primary Sharing Time,
November 2018 Sharing Time Topic: We Are to Thank God in All Things
November 2018 Song: Consider singing songs that reinforce what you teach. This month some of those songs might be “Children All Over the World” (CS, 16–17), “For Health and Strength” (CS, 21), “I Think the World Is Glorious” (CS, 230), “My Heavenly Father Loves Me” (CS, 228–29), and “Thanks to Our Father” (CS, 20).
November Week 2 Topic: I am thankful for temporal blessings.
Preparation:
Prayerfully study and think about what the specific needs of your primary are and how you can teach them this doctrine. The most important thing is to love those you teach and to teach them by the Spirit!! Focus on building their testimonies and helping them come unto Christ! (All printables for this sharing time can be found and printed by clicking the "Free Printable Download" button. They are free and can be printed and used for personal and church purposes)
Sharing Time Instruction:
Discuss what the primary children learned the week before and how they applied it in their lives throughout the week.
Show the week's theme poster and invite the primary children to repeat, "I am Thankful for Temporal Blessings."
Explain to them that temporal blessings are things that they can see, touch, taste or smell.
Such as: house, food, bodies, stars, flowers, mountains, etc.
These temporal blessings are all gifts from our Heavenly Father.
Give each of the primary children the "Temporal Blessings" printable. Invite them to draw pictures or write at lease one of their temporal blessings that our Heavenly Father has given them that they are thankful for.
Invite some of the primary children up to share the temporal blessings they are thankful for.
Close by sharing your testimony of being thankful for temporal blessings.
