Preparation:

The most important thing is to love those you teach and to teach them by the Spirit!! Focus on building their testimonies and helping them come unto Christ! (All printables for this sharing time can be found and printed by clicking the "Free Printable Download" button. They are free and can be printed and used for personal and church purposes)
Sharing Time Instruction:
Show the primary children the picture of Moses and explain that some of the first four commandments that Moses received were about Respecting and Worshiping Heaven Father.
Show the children the week's theme poster and invite them to repeat, "I should respect and Worship God.
Explain that we are going to play a little activity to learn more about these four commandments. It is going to be a scripture chase, matching game.
On one side of the board place a scripture, on the other side of the board, the commandment. After a primary child comes up and chooses a scripture, each of the classes will race to look up the scripture, read it and the choose which commandment it goes with. The first teacher to teacher to raise their "Big hand"sign will be the one who gets the match, as long as their class answers correctly.
After the match is made, discuss the commandment with the primary children and how it applies into their lives today. (See examples below)
Continue with each scripture.
Close by sharing your testimony on the topic.
Scripture, Commandment Match and Application:
Exodus 20:3- Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me - Application: Discuss what this means to the primary children, Explain that is means that we do not put anything above Heavenly Father. It means we trust and have faith in Heavenly Father, we worship him. He is who we pray to, we keep His commandments, and we follow His plan.
Exodus 20:4 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image - Application: Discuss how to keep this commandment we need to think about, how everything that we have comes from our Heavenly Father. We have gratitude for our things, but we never put them above Heavenly Father.
Exodus 20:7 - Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. - Application: Discuss how Heavenly Father has asked us to use his name and the Savior's name reverently. We do this out of love and respect for them. We also are to not use crude, vulgar and unkind words.
Exodus 20:8- Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Application: Discuss how the Sabbath day is a day we can set aside to come closer to our Heavenly Father. We keep it holy as we attend our church meetings, partake of the sacrament and do the things that will help us stay close to Him.
