Sharing Time Instruction:
With there being a fifth Sunday in November here are some ideas of what you could do:
*You could do a any of the Sharing Times below:
LDS Sharing Time November 2014 Week 2: Prayer is reverent communication with Heavenly Father.
LDS Sharing Time November 2014 Week 3: Repentance is a change of mind and heart.
*Or you could turn the time over to your music leader and do a longer singing time.
*Or you could to a Sharing Time that focuses on Thanksgiving and Blessings here are some ideas:
LDS Sharing Time September 2014 Week 1: I show my gratitude by offering thanks for all my blessings.
*Or here is another idea for sharing time:
Draw the block letters "STRENGTHENS" on the board in chalk. Explain that when we live the teachings of Jesus Christ we are strengthened and our families are strengthened. Ask the children what are some things we can do to follow Jesus' teachings? Write the ideas the children give you inside of the letters. Some ideas might be: Reading the scriptures, saying our personal prayers, saying our family prayers, having Family Home Evening, attending primary, partaking of the sacrament each week, repenting of things we do wrong, forgiving others, serving and loving others, etc. Invite the primary children to share examples of ways they have followed Jesus' teaching throughout the week and how it has helped to strengthen their faith and testimony and how it has strengthened their family. Give each child the "Strengthens"printable (see above), invite them to go home and everytime they do something to live Christ's teachings write it down in the letters "STRENGTHENS". Close by sharing your testimony.
What are some other ideas you are going to use for the 5th Sunday Lesson in November, leave your ideas in the comments below.
***Basic ideas for this sharing time came from the 2014 Sharing Time Outline, you can find a link here: 2014 Sharing Time Outline.
