Sharing Time Instruction:
Before sharing time give three children a scripture to look up and be prepared to read. (See printable above).
Begin Sharing Time by showing the primary children a picture of Jesus. Ask them who the person is in the picture? Ask the children what they know about the Savior? Thank the children for all of their participation.
Show the children the Week Theme Poster, have the children repeat, "When family life is founded on the teaching of Jesus Christ, we can be happy".
Place the theme picture on the board and place the words strip, "Teachings of Jesus" under the picture.
Show the children the "Keys", explain that on the keys are teachings of Jesus Christ. These teachings are the keys to happiness in our families. When each member of the family is doing the things Heavenly Father wants us to be doing than our families can be happier. Place the keys on the board under, "Teachings of Jesus". Place three happy faces under the each key. At this time in the sharing time invite one of the children to read the scripture that was handed to them earlier. Invite that child to come up and place the scripture next to the "Key" it talks about. Ask the primary children how they can live that teaching of Jesus and help their families be happy. Write three of their responses next to the three happy faces under the key being discussed. Continue with each scripture and happy faces, under each key.
Close by sharing your testimony on the week's topic and invite the primary children to live Christ's teachings each day of their lives and look for ways they can help their family to be happy.
