Red, White and Blue Ideas for your 4th of July Celebrations!

Red, White and Blue the perfect combination. As I think about the 4th of July memories of parades, BBQs, fun times with family and friends, fireworks and of course the great freedoms we enjoy as citizens of the USA.  I thought I would post a couple crafts I have done the past couple of years that encompass those beautiful colors, Red, White and Blue.

This simple fireworks craft can be made with the kids. Can you believe that it is made out of paper towel rolls? For a tutorial on how to make these click here: Firework Craft.

RED*WHITE*BLUE CANDY BRACELETS

I made these the other day for my kids and their cousins.  Start with three strands from a "Twizzlers Pull n Peel", smash the one end of them together. Then start braiding. when you get to the end smash that end together. Put the candy braid around the wrist of the person that wants it and smash the ends together. Pretty easy and the kids love it!!  FYI: Please make sure your hands are clean before working with these candies that a little kiddo will be eating.
