 I hope and pray that you can use these ideas as a guideline and adjust them to the needs of your own specific family.  Our prophet President Monson says, "We cannot afford to neglect this heaven-inspired program. It can bring spiritual growth to each member of the family, helping him or her to withstand the temptations which are everywhere. Discuss any family business

Scripture: Read and Mark: Moroni 7:48

Article of Faith: # 1 "We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost."

- Print out the 1st Article of Faith poster shown above.  Explain the Article of Faith to your family.  Example: We believe in God. Who is God to us? Our Eternal Father. We also believe in His Son, who is his son? Jesus Christ.  And we believe in the Holy Ghost. Who is the Holy Ghost? He is the messenger and revealer of the Father and the Son.   God and his son Jesus have bodies of flesh and bones, we are made in their image.  The Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit, without a body of flesh and bones. We believe that they are three separate and distinct beings who are perfectly united in doctrine and purpose.
-Help with Memorization.  Recite the Article of Faith together.  Then cover up a couple words with a cut pieces of paper. Recite the Article of Faith again.  Continue until all of the words are covered with paper and the family can recite the Article of Faith all of the way through.

Discuss the plan with your family.  Use the two printables below to help in your discussion.

Make sure you point out how Jesus was an example to us.  Use images of his life, the kindness and love that he showed to others, etc.  Here is a link to some pictures of the Savior's life. Emphasize that it is the desire of our Heavenly Father that we obtain the highest glory in the Celestial Kingdom. He wants us to reside in his presence.
