After intense workouts our bodies need some nutrients put back into it, specifically protein. Here is the recipe for my favorite after work out shake. Actually I like it so much that I have it for dinner sometimes.
Chocolate Banana Protein Shake
Needed:
Blender ( I use a blender that has cups, so you can just make your shake and drink right out of the cup. I purchased mine at Walmart for less then $20. It is a GE brand)
Chocolate Protein powder (My favorite it Pure Protein - Frosty Chocolate. I've purchased this both at Walmart and Smiths)
Ice cubes (4)
Water (I usually eyeball it. It is probably half a cup. Enough to cover the ice. If your shake ends up being too thick add more water, if too runny add less next time or more ice)
Half of a banana
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until all ice is broken up and well blended. The banana makes it creamy and it is just yummy! Enjoy!
